About
I'm Adam Oosthuizen, an independent photographer in Cape Town. I shoot portraits, promotional images for small businesses, and fine-art prints from my personal work.
Different subjects, but the same job each time: make an image that holds up when someone looks at it twice. In practice that means a portrait where you look like yourself, rather than like someone being photographed. A product or a space shot so it looks like the real thing on a good day. A print with enough detail to earn its place on a wall.
Every project starts with a short conversation about what the images are actually for — a website, a listing, a gallery wall, something to hand to family. That brief shapes the shoot, and you'll know the scope and the cost before anything is booked.

How it works
Booking a photographer shouldn't be a guessing game. Here's exactly what happens from the first email onwards.
Send a short note about what you're after. A rough idea is plenty — you don't need the details worked out yet.
We agree on scope, location, and timing, and settle what the images need to do. You get a written quote before anything is confirmed.
Relaxed and unrushed. If you're not used to being photographed, that's the normal starting point — I'll walk you through it.
Edited images arrive in a private online gallery, ready to download and use. Prints can be ordered from the same set.

Tell me a bit about what you have in mind — the session, the space, or the shot. If I'm not the right fit for it, I'll say so and point you somewhere that is.
